Welcome to the Punxsutawney Area Community Center - featuring The Jackson Theatre.	The PACC is located at 220 North Jefferson Street in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.	Spend some time in the community fitness center with its own private entrance.

Fitness Center - Return to Top

The Punxsutawney Area Community Center has its own seperate Fitness Center entrance. Join and get healthy!	Upper and lower body weight machines to help you reach your goals.	Separate areas for the upper and lower body machines, free weights, and cardiovascular machines.
With a variety of machines and weights, the fitness center can fulfill all of your exercise needs.	Free weights in a variety of pounds.	Cardiovascular area with treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bikes for you to use.
The Fitness Center has the perfect hours for your schedule!	Come and work out with a friend or by yourself. Bring your own iPod or watch one of our tv's.

Jackson Theater and Auditorium - Return to Top

Comfortable seats so that you can relax while you watch a movie at the Jackson Theater.	The auditorium is available for rent based on the individual event and time needed.	A balcony on the 2nd floor is open during movies and if you rent the auditorium.
The snack bar is open for all movies - complete with fresh popped popcorn, candy, and drinks.	Want popcorn? Movie style popcorn is served at the PACC movies and during special events. Stop by and pick some up!	Stop by before a movie or during one of the many events held at the Punxsutawney Area Community Center for some drinks.

Gymnastics - Return to Top

The gymnastics program is one of the best in the area! New students are always welcome.	Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gymnastics room and the gymnasium.	Different levels for all students are available.

Aerobics Room - Return to Top

Take a "lo"-robics class in our aerobics room, or take a pilates/yoga class.	Call the community center or check the calendar of events for other classes coming to the aerobics room.

Meeting Room - Return to Top

Need a place for your meeting? Contact the Punxsutawney Area Community Center and ask about our meeting rooms.	Meeting rooms available for your special needs. Call 814-938-1008 to reserve your room.	Planning a party and need a room for the event? Contact PACC and let us host your party!

Gymnasium - Return to Top

The gymnasium is open to any individual when Community Center programs are not scheduled. Check for prices and availability.	Sports leagues are constantly forming at the community center. Check our calendar for league times and locations.	You can rent the gym for your private event. Contact the Community Center for more details.

Peterson Room - Return to Top

Having a meeting and need a room? The Peterson Room is perfect to hold small meetings. A private room with plenty of space will make any meeting complete.	Rent the Peterson Room for your party. Tables and chairs, private bathrooms and a refrigerator are all located in the room.

Cycling room - Return to Top

Check out one of our new programs - INDOOR CYCLING!	Brand new indoor bicycles were purchased for the new indoor cycling class. Space is limited and information is available on the Programs and Activities page.	Beginner's classes are $30.00 and are twice a week for 6 weeks. What a great bargain!
Different class times are offered with different instructors. See the times and instructors on the Programs and Activities page.	You can adjust the bike to fit for you - come early and get ready for some cycling fun!	Minimum of 3 people per class and a maximum of 8 - perfect class sizes!!
